Great Engineers. The people who work to build the product are engaged, inventive and fun to work with. Many great teams and unsung heroes outside of engineering. Growth is encouraged and expected. You will learn a lot in a short amount of time.
Minpunten
Sr. Leadership. The top of the food chain at Bitvavo come across as arrogant and shallow. They lack the experience to make meaningful decisions. Too much nit-picking. Too much ego. Too many personality clashes. Influence is outsized. They are *never* reigned in. Engineering leadership quote the mantra of impact, but are caught up in confirmation bias. C-level has too much sway without much direct interaction and does not demonstrate culture they judge the rest of the company by. The company is run by the crypto market, not the other way around. Not good. "Ship It" culture is 00s. Quality and technical innovation is the key to success. No, that does not mean you strap "AI" to everything. Like many technical strategies at Bitvavo, there is a kernel of good, but lack of competency on how to integrate the business to fully deliver. Too much knee-jerk reaction from C-level.
