This is a review about ESKO, a subsidairy of DANAHER with HQ in Belgium (Gent). Decisions with a very short-term perspective (quarter to quarter) and extremely financially driven. The company still has an important position in the market, but this has been under enormous pressure in recent years. Certain segments lose 15% annual revenue to competitors. Through acquisitions the management tries to maintain the market position, but the integration of the acquisitions is very defective and causes a lot of damage: quality of execution in business processes suffers enormously, great work pressure to be able to deliver only moderate quality, poor execution of decisions, very large staff turnover (also among top management), unclear and poorly formulated roles and responsibilities. The company culture has been destroyed and there is a huge gap between top management and the rest of the company and it is getting worse. Positions and politics are more appreciated than sincerely delivering qualitative work. After the recent acquisition of BLUE Software, it seems that all important decisions and jobs will no longer be held in Ghent in the near future, but in the US. CONCLUSION : Stay away from this company because it is not a good investment for your career and your life! Toxic senior management.
