I want to share my experience after going through the hiring process at this company. Unfortunately, it was a really disappointing and disheartening journey from beginning to end. I can't help but wonder why I had to go through the whole process when it seemed like the company only wanted a specific type of person. Right from the start, I felt unwelcome and like I didn't fit in. Instead of being welcomed and helped to adjust, it seemed like the company was looking for faults and didn't appreciate what I could bring. It was sad to see that my efforts to fit into the company were met with a closed-minded attitude. The feedback I received during my short time there was repetitive and often missed important details. I have worked in different places before and got along well with different teams. But here, I kept getting criticized for communication issues and being called passive. It made me feel uncomfortable and stressed, and it affected my ability to do well. When it comes to my coding skills, I genuinely tried to make improvements by fixing repeated code and suggesting changes. But my manager didn't give much positive feedback or pay attention to my suggestions. The process of reviewing my code was slow and unproductive. Important changes were ignored, and I didn't feel valued. It was also frustrating to spend a lot of time manually entering data into the mock API project as a frontend developer, when it could have been automated. I hope that sharing my experience will help others make informed choices and avoid going through the difficulties I faced.
