I already should have seen the red flags before start working for this firm: Unprofessional job interview (most qualified companies at least do a case study when hiring someone in the KYC domain. The interview took less then an hour and the only question they had was my motivation to work within this area. The Compliance Manager (head of the department) never had any interest in me since I was hired. Since I started I never had any contact anymore except from sporadic mails to approve a case. The tasks cannot be compared to what a CDD Analyst normally does in a proper company such as a bank. The tasks mainly consist of checking documents to onboard clients. Not much analysis at all. Soon after hiring me they decided to 're-organise' or at least that is what they told. Unfortunately the head of Compliance nor anybody from the department or General Management in London did have the decency to communicate the news and to apologize for the situation which in a decent company would be the least you would do in such situation. Low salary and no additional benefits at all.
