      Toxic behavior among executives and political games at the top. Deeply hierarchical culture where loyalty matters more than competence. Burnouts are common as teams face chronic uncertainty and internal power struggles. A telling example: a freelancer was dismissed after a conflict with a permanent employee, with leadership stating, “we’re in the army here.” This reflects the prevailing mindset.

      Thank you for your open feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you perceive your work environment rather restrictive. I also work in Essen and I'm happy to benefit from a very modern environment and leadership style. To achieve our company goals, we need a culture of trust and empowerment - so this will definitely be our way forward. I also think we have already made good progress, but cultural change takes patience and time.
