Pluspunten
Some of the people are good people. The work was interesting in the beginning, salary was okayish for me—however a lot of my colleagues who had been there for almost 10 years were earning less than me.
Minpunten
1. The CEO is delusional and deceptive. He does not employ critical thinking, he is not focused, he is impatient and frankly foolish. 2. It is a complete and utter boys club. It's been almost a year since I quit my role here and it still frustrates me to no end when I think back on how incredibly difficult it was at times to work here. I was working 50% with the more creative marketing employees, all of whom were a delight to work for. Unfortunately the remaining 50% was spent arguing with an ex-convict who despite committing egregious fraud at his previous employer and repeatedly harassing interns remained employed on a very decent salary, and a handful of his comrades. 3. The business was failing when I joined in Jan 2025 due to a lack of realistic planning. They spend 99% of their time trying to relive the 2020 peak of their success rather than really putting time and investment into becoming truly futureproof. 4. They treat their models disgracefully. The words I heard being thrown around about certain models and the names they were being called genuinely makes my stomach turn still. 5. There's no HR and for good reason, if they had HR the men in management roles would have to stop harassing the women who work with and for them! The HR person left before I did and still hasn't been replaced. 6. Marketing is entirely focused on cheat codes and short cuts, this company is incredibly reliant on the success of marketing but refuses to actually invest in it. 7. You won't have a work life balance. Most ppl working here don't have friends outside of this company. They drink and do drugs excessively and often and if you don't participate (even if it's during a work project) you'll be considered dry and not a team player. 8. Very little flexibility, not allowed to take vacation during peak seasons (and they treat every single occasion as a peak- we had an Easter sale for adult toys?? Make it make sense). You also will pretty much have to be in the office 4 or 5 days a week (unless you get harassed by the head of E-Commerce then you can work from home :) ).
