      Pluspunten

      Joining Framer was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It’s a special place. Koen and Jorn are amazing founders and makers in the truest form. I’ve learned a lot from working with them. Their eye for talent has built one of the most remarkable teams you’ll find. The team has so much good energy, which, combined with its operational effectiveness and craftsmanship, makes it truly unique. If you’re seeking ownership, flexibility, and personal growth, Framer is the place for you. 10/10 would recommend.

      Toxic leadership that chews people up

      We used to get unlimited leave, but in 2021 they started putting boundaries on this, which I think is highly unethical. Product is kind of interesting, but headed in a dead-end direction.

      Minpunten

      Terrible C-suite that don’t care about people or listen to their expertise. Boy’s club / tech bro culture that is very non-inclusive. They lump more and more work on your plate until you go on burnout leave and then pretend to care about helping you. Harsh feedback that is based on personal tastes and not data or insights which doesn’t help with iteration. Managers that are not trained to be managers. CEO and CPO always dodge questions in all-hands meetings, effectively keeping employees in the dark. On top of all that, really low pay. If they make you an offer they will lowball you and then payrises are non-existent, not even to keep up with inflation.

      Lots of flexibility, great product, smart people and great community

      Pluspunten

      There is a lot of flexibility at Framer to grow into the role you want. Many people have walked in as CS managers and walked out as product managers and engineers. The product is also one of a kind, and the colleagues are the smartest people I have ever worked with. There is a big emphasis on engaging with the users, which also leads to smarter product decisions.

      Minpunten

      If you are not a generalist, or need a lot of structure, this company may not be the right fit for you.
