    Pluspunten

    - An opportunity to get a deep understanding of the EHSQ ecosystem - Bonus (but i heard that the bonus structure has changed now) - lots of free food, snacks, raffle draws to win ipads, fitbit, etc. (but i heard that does not happen anymore either) - Health Benefits were really good (+$700 per year on Health Spending) - Vision Meetings were always nice -- got to hear directly from the senior leadership team... about the direction that the company is taking

    - Poor senior leadership: too many changes will be made and within 1-2 Quarters those decisions will be withdrawn or overridden. - Sales focused culture --- not a customer focused culture ... neither an innovation focused culture - Serious bro-culture and lots of closed-knit groups within the company. If you are not part of the right group, then forget about growth.

    - Focus on the customers. Be customer-obsessed like Amazon, Netflix if you want to be a billion dollar company. - More transparency please. A lot of important decisions happen behind closed doors that creates a toxic culture.

    The co-workers you will have at Intelex are amazing. All of the people I worked with directly where true professionals and when called upon did a fantastic job of supporting the overall goal - which for me was net new client acquisition. Intelex also has fantastic partnerships. The newest partnership with Workday is a true game changer in the industry and one that will no doubt create future opportunities for the... business. If you are competitive, this company is for you. They have around 50+ sales people and their is very friendly competitive feel to closing and being the best at the organization. So, if your into competition and crushing your quota this is a great organization to develop with, cut your teeth, and learn the competitive side of being a sales professional.

    Internally, Intelex has a super strong Toronto based culture. This is great for some if you are in Toronto and want to be apart of clubs, activities, off hours partying, etc. However, if you are not in Toronto or part of the in-crowd you will feel it big time... This is seen in the support you will receive, attention to your opportunities, and the overall effort that is given by certain individuals. Favoritism... happens at all companies and is a natural occurrence, but at Intelex you will feel it much more then any company I have seen. Also, since their are so many sales people expect your ramp to be around 18 - 20 months (Enterprise Sales role). There are just way to many reps and not enough opportunities to go around. Lastly, they let people go on a whim and you get the feeling they hire to look like they are bigger then they really should be i.e. lots of duplication in roles and responsibility and needing to look bigger for investors and acquisition. Morale is super low at this organization right now....

    Just because you are acquired by a large company doesn't mean your issues go away. Fix the issues at hand and treat employees all with equal support. Stop the whole Toronto vs US Employees and showcasing favoritism. Learn that not everyone is going to be engaged 100% of the time with your clubs, culture,etc. and its doesn't mean they are not good workers or do not believe in your mission. Lastly, keep fighting for... a safer, more sustainable future and focus on the customers, not how great Intelex is or could be...

    Pluspunten

    Loved the culture and setup at the office, games room, activity clubs, cake etc. Got to work on some interesting projects which added to my career. Salary was competitive.

    Minpunten

    Very frequent org changes, which affect your role at the company drastically. Lots of turnover and lay offs affecting morale. Redundancies : multiple people in different departments trying to do the same job. Evaluation criteria for performance was vague, you saw people getting promoted very rapidly in some departments, while others who were equally performing well were not.

    Establish some controls around the hiring to limit the amount of duplication or overlap between roles between or within functional groups. Clarity around performance management would also help - the company was definitely not set up to retain its best talent as personnel decisions were being made on a whim without considering the long term impact on the teams

    Chief People Officer has great idea and really attempts to create an excellent, modern work culture that is fair.

    Minpunten

    Management is a complete joke and the sales reps that have been with the company for years have literally had no experience anywhere else. They have had all the good accounts for years and make the most money even though they are terrible at what they do and don't even know it. Company is incredibly cheap with sales reps and don't have a clue how sales reps are treated elsewhere.
