Pluspunten
Nice people in general, strong software and QA engineers. Nice office, good canteen and kitchen areas on every floor, private gym. A lot of freedom and good work life balance.
Minpunten
This company has a Russian management style and mentality. While the work-life balance is generally good, many employees end up overworking due to unrealistic management expectations, poor planning and inefficient communication. Although it is now a European company with closed offices in Russia, there seems to be little interest in fully integrating into the new environment. 95% of the company is Russian, including senior management and they almost exclusively hire Russians or Russian-speaking individuals, with a few exceptions in intern, office and administrative roles. While internal communication in open channels is in English, employees use Russian when speaking among themselves, which can make non-Russian speakers feel excluded. There is virtually no diversity. Despite the company’s strong engineering capabilities, the implementation of best practices is slow. There are frequent instances of unnecessarily reinventing the wheel, hacky and over complicated code. Complete lack of vision for long-term goals. While experiences may vary by team, this general vibe is prevalent throughout the company.
