It's incredibly disappointing to see the Chief People Officer send an email to newly promoted employees to write positive reviews. This isn't just wrong; it's manipulative and unethical. Employees shouldn't feel pressured to praise their employer, especially right after getting a promotion. It puts them in an awkward position. Why should only the newly promoted be asked to do this? It makes the whole thing seem dishonest. Worse, it sets a terrible precedent for future promotions, implying a quid pro quo where employees might feel they need to write positive reviews to get ahead. If the company were truly good, it wouldn't need to guilt its staff into writing fake glowing reviews. This kind of behavior is unethical and seriously damages the company’s credibility.
