If I could put zero stars, I would. This is for ONITSUKA TIGER EUROPE What used to be an inspiring, collaborative environment has turned into a culture of fear, favoritism, and control. Leadership consistently displays a lack of empathy and emotional intelligence, prioritizing their own visibility and personal gain over the well-being of their teams (this counts for the leadership that came from Japan as well as the newly appointed General manager... good luck with that one). Micromanagement is suffocating, trust is nonexistent, and people are constantly WALKING ON EGGSHELLS. Instead of addressing their own failures, management often blames and replaces employees, creating an endless cycle of insecurity and turnover. Diversity and inclusion are words used only for show, in practice, voices from outside the inner circle are silenced, and decisions are made based on proximity and loyalty, not merit. New perspectives are ignored or shut down because leadership believes their way is always the right way, even when results say otherwise. The organization feels divided and hostile, with no space for honest feedback or growth. There’s no courage to evolve, no curiosity to explore new ideas. It’s a company trapped in nostalgia, celebrating mediocrity while calling it greatness. The irony is that the people calling themselves “leaders” here are anything but. They operate like bosses obsessed with control, not leaders who inspire trust. Real leadership is about listening, growing with your team, and lifting others, qualities completely absent here. The problem is, they’ll read this review and never recognize themselves in it… and that’s exactly why the culture will never change. The brand has become creatively stagnant plus the "luxury vision" is not going to happen. They only sell the Mexico line. Instead of protecting employees, HR fuels the toxicity, gossiping about staff, betraying confidentiality, and siding with leadership no matter how unethical the behavior. It’s an HR function that doesn’t serve people; it serves power. Turnover is constant because people are burned out, silenced, or simply give up. The few who remain do so out of necessity, not loyalty. Pay is below market, recognition is selective, and morale is at an all-time low. Final advice: Run away from them. Don’t be fooled by the brand name or the heritage, what’s behind it now is a leadership team that drains talent, silences creativity, and mistakes control for competence. There are plenty of places where your voice will be valued, this isn’t one of them.
