I have been a part of the SOC team for more than two years, and the amount of professional growth is huge. The work is intense because you handle real incidents and real clients. That is exactly what builds your expertise. We use strong internal tools, and leadership invests in training (Hack The Box, internal mentorship, etc.). Sure, there are moments when you stay late to finish something urgent, but management respects personal time, so vacations and sick leaves are never an issue.
