-Pretty good pay for someone with no college experience. You have to be 18 to work here, but it definitely pays more than most other kind of retail store. -Great company and values. -Good workout.

People think that just because you get to sit in a chair while your ringing up people's items that this job is easy. This job is very Physically tiring. Aldi does not believe in multiple positions. There are only two positions, Cashier and Manager. That means that you have to do all the stocking (even in the freezer!!), cleaning everything-sweeping,mopping,etc. and you need to deal with really rude cheap people. Be prepared to get a lot of bruises and scratches when you begin working. Don't waste your time getting your nails done either, because they will get ruined. This job is very hard on your body. Not a job that I would recommend to people who cant take physical work. You will be doing a LOT of lifting.
