Have worked with the company for over 5 years, and watched as our higher pay incentive went down and our workload went up (which never even seemed possible before, but it happened). I have watched as employees who have been with the company for 10+ years have gotten treated like dirt when it comes to salary and workers comp for WHEN they get hurt. This job is so physically demanding there is no way around it. The time for my 401k to become fully vested keeps getting pushed out further and further into the future. And forget about work/life balance. That doesn’t exist. Your days off change every week. Your hours change every day. If you do have a day off, expect to close the day before (be there until 10pm) and then open the day after your day off (wake up at 4 or 5 am). When you do get time off you will be so utterly exhausted you will just crash on the couch on not be able to move. You can probably work just about anywhere else and get paid the same or more for less work. Bottom line, Aldi is cheap and disloyal. They want to push you to your max every day and give you nothing in return.
