Pluspunten
From what I understand from speaking with other employees, your job satisfaction will greatly depend on the store management. So I would suggest shopping at the Aldi you want to work for and observing before applying... Anyway, I really enjoy working at my Aldi. You are always, always busy and time goes by quickly. It is crucial to have good co-workers as it really is a team effort to run a store with minimal employees. My pay and benefits are top-notch considering I'm working in a discount grocery store and the store managers and district managers always respond to your questions, requests, and inquiries. If you are a hard worker, you can move up to a shift manager position.
Minpunten
Expectations can be way too high. Some days it is impossible to get everything done yet the district manager will look at sales and cut employees solely due to that. It can be hard for some people to support a family because at busy times, I work 40+ hours and slower times 30+ hours. The corporate employees can be frustrating because they are hired straight out of college and don't actually participate in running a store.
