The call center workers and managers are great. There is a "We're all in this together" mentality which makes the time there a littler bearable. You have the opportunity to watch good paycheck a with little education. You gain confidence talking to people on the phone for your next job because people say the worst things to you here.

You have to walk a half mile to the building or take a shuttle from a satellite parking lot. The company is a scam. People sign up for these payday loans without reading the contract and have to pay back double what they borrowed if they are lucky. I saw some people in my time there who paid over a thousand dollars on a $300 loan. The workers there console themselves by saying it's not their fault people didn't read the contract. People will call you the worst names all day on the phone tell you to kill yourself or tell you they are going to kill themselves. You'll hear heartbreaking stories from poor people who were suckered into these loans all day. People with outstanding debt with AMG will get calls every day asking for the money, because calling every day is the only leverage the company has. You have very little break time and if you are more than one minute late for lunch they give your demerits. I knew to the second how long it took me to use the restroom. If you do make it to a bonus check level ( I was $100 short of collecting $12,700 and missed out on the entire bonus), the company needles you and takes as much as they can back because of your productivity time and your overall scores on randomly pulled calls. They fire people nearly everyday just so they don't have to pay them healthcare and just hire a new crop every couple of weeks on temp contracts. I felt like a criminal every day leaving AMG, and dreaded every second I was away from there thinking I'll have to go back in the morning. The upper level management have multiple sports cars and such, they are the ones you are making to money for.

You can potentially earn a LOT of money. Overall pay is high compared to other companies of the type. Management is very knowledgeable of the job and offers great advice, always are very helpful and encouraging. They help you realize your full potential and are always trying to assist you in achieving it. Co-workers are typically very knowledgable as well. Employees are encouraged to work as a team and help each other out, as well as shine as an individual. Scheduling is very flexible. Overall pretty satisfied with the job so far.

As expected, the job itself is not for everyone, it's somewhat difficult to endure day to day. Customers can be incredibly difficult, and the environment is typically pretty stressful. Training was incredibly intense, and personally caused me to somewhat panic because I was always being told what I could do that would get me fired. The company is pretty strict about how the run their business, and management has no problem telling you that if you don't follow by the rules, you won't be there for very long.
