Pluspunten

Wonderful co-workers, able to listen to iPod while working...potlucks...medical benefits...401k...

Minpunten

Billers know more than supervisors and sometimes even the managers, then get little recognition for their knowledge. Zero appreciation. People get stuck working there due to money. When the company had to downsize because they suck, they kept those that had been there the longest (pro to a degree), even if they weren't as fast an efficient as a newish employee (con). You just got rid of someone who worked there six years in the same position who aced every audit and surpassed their numbers everyday, and kept someone close to retirement, who is a fail but had been there for 20plus years, and only working this certain position for half a year.....and was constantly gone due to family/health problems. Good job. Amr. Also letting someone go and as management cleaning off of their desk management saying "wow, you completed ALL of this work today?" Haha

Pluspunten

There’s a good workforce here with employees who are well united on issues a strong sense that the company is actually pushing toward a positive future in terms of operations. Ambulance fleet seems to be getting good upgrades and call volume (in most areas) is manageable. There is also a good amount of OT available with bonuses/incentives available. Matching 401k is nice and health benefits are very reasonable.

Minpunten

For being such a large operation, the pay rate seems to be lacking as of right now. Most employees with adult responsibilities are having to rely heavily on overtime/incentives just to have a semi-comfortable lifestyle outside of work. Uniforms definitely need improvements and training for new EMTs seems a bit lackluster. The morale can be low at times also due to the company being write-up happy (for lack of a better term). Lack of 24 hour units and proper posting locations makes for a somewhat harsh work day as well.
