The managers largely didnt understand the work they assigned. We did our best to communicate the time it took and technical difficulties we encountered, but were told to just do what we could manage while simultaneously being spoken ill of because we couldn't individually do the work of 3 people by a deadline. We were asked to shift to cubicles when the work we were touching was highly sensitive and private, and not appropriate for guests walking through the office to be able to see over our shoulder. We were asked to do high level data entry in noisy environments. We were expected to attend regular staff socials at intervals that were to frequent and interfered with our meeting deadlines.
