Pluspunten
Some of the pros of this job (as it's hourly) is that is plenty of opportunity for doing overtime. With a yearly pay rise, 10% discount card (after three months), Christmas gift voucher and double discount days across George, home and leisure and booze! Colleagues are a pleasure to work with and so are the managers (generally), most customers are genuinely happy to be helped but still doesn't stop the odd one from complaining that something is out of stock.
Minpunten
There aren't many ways of progressing, or as I can see it, transferable skills if you want to look into another career. You're basically doing this because you need the money, and it's (truthfully) an unskilled job. When the management get stressed from occasional visits, this burden is levied onto the colleagues. Impossible task to complete in a short timeframe.
