If things are going as they should be, this NGO can be very good place to work at, you can have the opportunity to expand your network and be exposed to very interesting community
Minpunten
1. Salary: Salaries are not equivalent to the employee's profile, and they say they can't afford more than that because they are NGO although they receive very well funds from very reputable entities and associations "it seems those funds are spent in the wrong channels" 2. HR: there is no real hierarchy, all employees are in flat level under the CEO, although you may seem there is hierarchy but when things are in action, the CEO is giving all the orders with no tiny respect to the managerial level like COO, CMO ... etc 3. Organization: Believe it or not, it is 2016 and yet the company responsible for leading the entrepreneurs in Egypt are doing everything MANUALLY .. yes Manually !! They have no system, no clear work flow for the projects for all employees, everything is in the hand of the CEO 4. Job Duties: They disregard your title and ask you to do anything you can. if you asked to do just one job to avoid being distracted you will be accused of being lazy and incapable and not fit for the position and always making fun of you ! No appreciation at all ! 5. Work Environment: Everything is a mystery there, you are not given all the information, and you are not allowed to ask for information, yet you're being treated like a stupid and unqualified person for making one mistake, We're not allowed to work in teams. We're not allowed to talk to certain people, we were given explicit orders not to. 6. Labor Rights: You can easily get fired for no apparent reason, I was fired after 9 working days, yes I said 9 days despite I am not a fresh grad. or junior, I am a person of more than 8 years experience in Project/Operations Management and held very respectful position in large companies and NGOs, yet the CEO saw after just 9 days that I am not suitable for the managerial position I had in this falling down company, it is very normal to witness more than 6 or 8 people leaving the place in 1 month (average employment duration 3 weeks) ! 7. CEO: She is a very moody person, she's not who she appears to be in the interviews or events. she can very nice and then be very evil the next day. she'd treat you in the most humiliating way. She has serious issues with trust, and she is not a leader or a manager, she lacks any concepts of leadership or management, she can agree with you on something and you can build whole plan on that and yet in the next day she tells you the opposite thing and if you oppose her opinion, she accuse you of laziness and not paying attention to her ! She is always criticizing and making fun of people working for her.
