Pluspunten
*Co-workers *Free coffee *Free food (But only because they want you chained to your desk and to not leave the building) *PS4, ping-pong table, and board games in break room (But you can't use them because Team Leads will notice and watch you like a hawk) *Three days off a week (As long as no one calls in sick or is on PTO or you're not working "optional" overtime. It's not as nice as it sounds - it won't be consistent days off) *American Express benefits (5 months PAID maternity/paternity leave) *Nice job for someone right out of college that is single and has no other obligations other than to work, work, work *Up-to-date office
Minpunten
*Overtime is required (They will tell you it's optional in your interview but it's not) *Zero work/life balance *Not allowed to take PTO from mid-November to end of December (You get to choose 2 holidays you would like not to work but there is no guarantee you have those two holidays off) *Schedule (6am-4pm, 2pm-12am, or 8pm-6am & if you are on the 2pm or overnight shift you will never be moved to the 6am shift) *Need to give a month's notice (sometimes more) for PTO requests *Management does not trust its employees so you are not allowed to work from home or have your cell phone at your desk *Management gossips about employees *Don't even think about calling in if you're sick, you will be punished later in your year-end review *End of the year review is not based on performance, it is based on how well the director likes you *Management does not value its employees nor does it reward them *Slow to promote employees (You will probably be a Fraud Analyst I for at least two years even though there is zero difference between a I & II except for the title and a pay increase) *High turnover rate (They are unwilling/unable to keep their best employees) *Management never has answers about promotions or raises, or anything really. They blame it on corporate AMEX not giving them the information *You will be burnt-out. A lot.
