Not a lot of cons the pay is not amazing

Pay is subpar, health/ dental insurance through them is expensive (it cuts your paycheck by a 4th minimum). I started in the adult medicine department, and quickly realized that it was not the place for me. One nurse thinks she runs the place and the MAs glorify her. That particular nurse speaks badly about everyone including her physician but she’s become indispensable for him. The MAs are disrespectful to their nurses. The first day I introduced myself to the MAs they tried to alienate/ exclude me. When I spoke to the supervisor about this issue she blew me off. It seemed like the supervisor, that nurse and the MAs are all personal friends, so that was a red flag for me to leave. Basically if you don’t mind a toxic, mean-girls environment and brown nosing this is the place for you. If not stay away.
