Pluspunten
Innovative technology, but completely overshadowed by unsafe practices, poor leadership, and a lack of transparency.
Minpunten
* Safety Negligence: A serious accident occurred at a location AeroVect had deployed to, when a self-driving vehicle struck a bus—causing employee injuries, hospitalizations, and months of recovery time for those involved. Leadership withheld key information about the incident from other employees in the same role and ignored repeated requests for basic protections like shoulder seatbelts. Similar near-misses occurred with vehicles almost colliding with oncoming box trucks due to unsafe software. * Toxic Culture: A fear-driven management style where employees are constantly pressured with tasks outside their roles and expected to “do more” without support. * Training Issues: Extended, unclear training processes with little accountability. Some employees remained in training for months with no clear path forward. * Exploitation: Employees are pushed into extra projects under false promises of promotions or bonuses, with no follow-through or credit for the work performed. * Misleading Benefits: Candidates are told during hiring that health insurance is “included.” In reality, while minimal individual coverage exists, adding dependents can cost more than half of an employee’s salary. This is only disclosed after an offer is accepted, leaving employees trapped and misled. * Reputation Manipulation: On 9/15/25, company leadership asked the entire company to post positive Glassdoor reviews in an effort to boost the company’s image—further eroding employee trust. * Retaliation and Silencing: Employees who raised legitimate safety concerns—such as the bus crash, unsafe vehicle behavior, or the lack of seatbelts—faced retaliation and even termination. Multiple employees were let go for simply asking questions or requesting improvements. Management routinely dismissed safety discussions as “disruptive” and attempted to control the narrative instead of addressing root problems.
