-Good leave Policies: Amazon provides one of the best policies when it comes to general and maternity leaves. -Work culture in general is good. -Company promotes inclusive environment. -The span in which you get eligible for an IJP is low (as low as 3 months in CS).
Minpunten
-Amazon (especially CS) pays in pennies. The pay is too low as compared to other forms. They pay less than 2L/ year for international voice process! -The Resolution Specialist role is a lead role in Amazon but outward letter does not mentions Lead title which results in issues while seeking new jobs. -Firm believes in cost cutting wherever and whenever possible. So do not expect lavish parties or anything else. Everything will be result of cost cutting. Policies are designed in a way that cost cutting is center of planning them. -Management in Pune is not sensitive to employee issues. Especially L3. -The policies regarding variable pay, promotions etc change too frequently causing employees to lose on the benefits. Nothing is done to compensate for this. -Initially the hiring bar was high. But now, its just college students with no skills and discipline whatsoever, who resign after 1st salary. Its just like any college in Pune.
