Pluspunten
- Revolutionary processes that are being proven at the demonstration scale at the Thomaston facility - Management that has big dreams and visions to propel the company for years to come - Engineering, R&D, and Operations teams that are intermingled and jive well together - Good benefits for employees I have been with American Process for several years and only have good things to say about the company. The technology is sound and can produce an extraordinary portfolio of end products that nobody else in the business can do.
Minpunten
Yes, it is an extremely faced paced environment and employees must be dynamic. Being a start-up technology company, that should be expected as the race to commercialization is on. There is high turnover, but that is to ensure that only the most talented people are being brought in continuously to ensure future success of the company.
Pluspunten
Decent pay. For the most part people outside of management are friendly.
Minpunten
I've only been here for a short while but I have seen a lot of shady things. I should have known something wasn't right when multiple people left within my first 2 weeks of employment. The entire site lacks professionalism. There are people in positions that they clearly aren't qualified for but are there because they are either upper management pet or in the "good old boys" club. The site claims to have a "safety culture" on paper but is non existence in practice. It is way too many safety hazards that exist but management keeps turning a blind eye to. There is no morale. The mood is oppressing & depressing. As stated earlier it is well known that if you are apart of the right crowd you're good but if aren't you're a peon, a nobody.
