Minpunten

There's many, many cons to this company and it's unfortunate that it's like that. I see now, so many senior management who is leaving the company and now I see a pattern. First, you are going to see that recruitment is fun and dandy until you realize you have to do 7-8 interviews a day, while answering emails, while taking phone calls because Mrs CEO wants recruiters to be busy. She is expecting us to recruit 8x5(days a week) = 40 interviews a week. Well, some people don't show up to your interview and you waste your time. That's one issue. You're not only recruiting, You are doing 5 other jobs at once too. While getting paid the bare minimum. Another issue: yes they promote "learning and development." Guess what? Their learning and development is 30 minutes a day, and they are on irrelevant things such as AI, technology, etc. IF you really want your employees to be happy and successful; make them learn fundamentals like Spanish (if you life in the US), or French (if you live in CAN). This will drastically change the way employees see "learning time". Or 30 minutes on how to play an instrument. But no. What you get is dumb Jetty Shey in every video, teaching you how to breathe. Let's talk about the CEO for a moment. She like's to promote that she absolutely despises AI. Meanwhile, she would send us in our group, how to use AI for emails, texts, and professionalism. Seriously? CEO claims that this is a work-life balance. Yet, she brags and brags online on LinkedIn about how she is living "la bella vita" because her and her daughter are out galivanting. Why promote work-life balance if you're the ONLY one to have that opportunity compared to the rest of us. In fact, it's a bit selfish as a CEO to talk and talk about how she feels so "happy" that she can work from home and work outside etc. What about the rest of us? Who NEED to be hardwired to the internet in order for us to work, but YOU- who can work outside...... you sure aren't connected via hardwire. What a joke. Do better. You have barely any time off or benefits allowed. If you're sick, it's the END OF THE WORLD. Managers (I.e., the recruitment managers/leads) do not care if you're sick because you "work from home". No, it doesn't work like that. If I am throwing up, have no voice, and cannot physically get out of bed because I'm sick, that means I am staying in bed and resting and prioritizing MYSELF. But management literally gave me a verbal warning for being sick and not being able to attend to work. Another thing: there is absolutely NO room for growth. Sure, you can meet with leadership. That does not mean anything. There is no room to grow if you want to develop further into the HR role. Not for Canada at least. They promote growth, there is NONE. Also, if you are a bilingual French x English Customer Service Representative, this does not mean you get the hours you want. For bilingual reps, you have the choice of either 3 schedules. All the worst scheduled in the world that run over night. Talk about work-life balance when you can't have one. Anyways, keep it in mind if you want your world to suffer because you cannot do anything like go out with friends, family, shopping, eat, you seriously have no life because they control you. So think twice before joining any position of this team. You will regret saying yes if you do.

We’re sorry to hear that this was your experience, and we appreciate you taking the time to share it. While we recognize that no workplace is the right fit for everyone, we work diligently and intentionally to cultivate a supportive culture, opportunities for growth, and a healthy work-life balance. We also regularly review roles and workloads to ensure expectations are fair and sustainable. Learning and development are an important part of that culture. Our platform offers a wide range of resources, many of which can be self-selected, and team members are welcome to contribute content themselves. We want learning to be flexible and meaningful, and we encourage open conversations if different resources would be helpful. We also see AI as a valuable tool when used thoughtfully. We are not against AI, but we believe it should be used responsibly and with intention. Our view is that AI should never replace human connection and that people should always know when they are interacting with it, which is why we take a balanced approach. Time away from work is another priority for us. Paid leave begins accruing from the start of employment and grows with tenure, and we encourage team members to take the time they need for rest, recovery, or personal matters. We want everyone to feel supported in prioritizing their health and well-being and our policies are designed to reflect that commitment. We understand that life happens, and that’s why our attendance policy is designed with flexibility to support a wide range of needs, including illness, personal obligations, and legal matters. In addition, we offer personal leave when more time away is needed, as well as medical leave options where applicable. Scheduling is based on business needs, but we do our best to balance those requirements with flexibility. We also understand that scheduling is a highly personal matter and that no single schedule will meet every individual’s preferences or needs. Career development is also a key focus. While paths may differ by role and region, we provide mentorship, leadership development and structured opportunities to grow. We recognize that everyone’s experience is unique, and we value open communication. Team members are always welcome to connect with our People & Culture team if they have questions or concerns, so we can listen and support them directly.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review. We are glad to hear you have been enjoying the flexibility with scheduling, the supportive team members and leadership, areas for growth and the transparency in our expectations. These are areas that we work really hard on, so we are glad to hear we are on the right track. We also understand that call volume may be high at some times, and we are working hard to improve our call queue and work volume for all team members. Thank you for your amazing feedback, and we thank you for being a valued team member!

Pluspunten

The role itself has a lot of potential and is something many employees genuinely enjoy at its core. There are strong team members who care about doing quality work and supporting clients effectively.

Minpunten

The level of micromanagement is excessive to the point that it actively gets in the way of doing the job well. There is a constant sense of being monitored, which creates pressure without adding value and makes it difficult to focus or think critically. Workload expectations are unrealistic and unsustainable. The expectation to respond to client tasks within extremely short timeframes (15 minutes) creates a nonstop, high-pressure environment with little to no breathing room. This is not a productivity driver, it is a burnout driver, and it is quickly turning a role people once enjoyed into one they dread. There is a fundamental contradiction in how performance is measured. CAMs are expected to maximize task volume while also improving quality, but the current pace makes that impossible. The system is effectively set up to push speed at the expense of accuracy, then criticize the outcome. Communication during high volume moments and practically "screaming" in the team collabs (AHOD/ACOD/ALOD) often comes across as harsh rather than supportive. Instead of improving performance it creates anxiety and discourages thoughtful work. The tone does not match the level of professionalism expected from employees. There is a noticeable disconnect between upper leadership and the actual day-to-day demands of the role. The work is continuous, back-to-back, and leaves little room to reset or catch up. Expectations appear to be set without a clear understanding of what the workload actually looks like in practice. “Learning time” has become a checkbox exercise rather than a meaningful benefit. Requiring repetitive career-focused content with no variety makes it disengaging. Allowing even 1–2 days for more flexible or interest-based learning would make it significantly more effective.
