The team I was a part of created a highly toxic work environment. Factors that contributed to this: micromanaging, working overtime on an almost daily basis to keep up with workload, expected to work without breaks, bullying, constantly changing priorities, lack of support and recognition from managers, blame culture, favoritism; as a result of these issues there was high turnover on this team. Workload is unsustainable, too many deliverables, and not enough resources on the team. If you're only working 8 hours/day, you will be failing at your job on this team. High stress and demanding job coupled with toxic work environment was a recipe for a physical and mental health disaster. Salary inadequate.
