Minpunten
Salaries are on the low end for Scotland and well below average for the Scottish finance sector.
Employer pension contributions are low, close to the legal minimum.
Average annual raises are low, just slightly above inflation, and even high performers receive disappointingly low raises.
Negotiating or leveraging an external offer to secure a raise doesn’t work at AutoRek. Talented individuals who tried this ended up leaving for much higher salaries elsewhere.
Last year’s bonus was very low, a fraction of what it was the year before. Frustratingly, this was due to overall company performance factors that were beyond my department’s control.
