Pluspunten
Generally pretty chill environment. Opportunity to learn a lot of neat information and talk to all kinds of different people in different car communities. If you get decent or good management, you can actually have a fun time at work.
Minpunten
If you get bad management, you're screwed. In the past 2 and a half years at my one store, we've changed District Managers 4 times- some have been amazing, some have been sub-par but not the worst, and some have been god-awful. There's an overlying energy with some higher-ups that they need to throw their weight around, to be rude and fire anyone who gives them a sideways glance, to threaten and insult in a way so subtle that you're not sure if you heard that right. There is no consistency to how they're training people, or the rules to follow, or who to blame when someone doesn't know something that they "should" know. Such a lack of consistent upper management causes the lower level employees to be confused about what's expected of them, and can cause them to have massive gaps in training. It also means that new upper management that comes in doesn't know the people in the stores- they come in and base their opinion of you off your sales scores, not merit or work performance. Also, the pay is straight booty, you WILL NOT get paid enough.
