A few good people there are trying their best to make progress.

Was hired for a data science position, due to the CEO's obsession with AI/Machine Learning/the Singularity/anything with a buzz word attached to it. Quickly realized that it would be impossible to do my job given the lack of access to any operational data, any product on which to implement models or algorithms, or any roadmap of how to get there. Tried to make the best of a bad situation for a lot longer than I should have.
