The development process is much more open to your input than in other companies I've worked with. There wasn't a single person here which I disliked, which is why I was here for 6 years. I learned a great deal, and was able to take minor development projects and turn them into new features -- flexibility I never had at large companies.

It's a small company and can't always do everything they want to.

It's family-run, which does lend itself to a bit of a family atmosphere. Good work/life balance and very flexible to personal needs.

Leadership is completely lacking and there is no cohesive direction in the company, leading them to lay off a big chunk of their workforce a few years ago. Benefits aren't great. Employees are often subject to screaming and verbal abuse.
