Management does not stick up for their employees if it involves putting their neck out in any way. Very Big Brother-ish...monitor your comings and goings and computer usage even just moving files around. Many people have their work computer AND a personal laptop or Ipad to skirt being monitored. Very tight when it comes to expenses, unless you are in engineering. Company does a terrible job of growing organically due to what I perceived as underperformance in the exploration group, so luckily they have enough money coming in to grow through acquisition.
