Pluspunten

The benefits are awesome! Hard to find better benefits than what they offer. Very affordable insurance, paid vacation and holidays, paid sick and personal days, incentive programs, etc. They are very big on communication. Everybody is willing to help. Upper management seem to actually care about the employees. After training you have a lot of freedom day to day. Managers may check in on you, but you're basically on your own. You will also get a company truck and smart phone to take home everyday. They also like to promote from within.

Minpunten

Sometimes you will get another tech's customer and spend a long time fixing what the previous tech did. Grumpy customers are never fun. You used to be able to plan your day according to how many jobs you had in the morning, but now if you get through your jobs fast and are hoping to have a short day they will add more jobs to your schedule.

Pluspunten

Processes and procedures are well defined and make for smooth workday. Service follows through and does a good job.

Minpunten

You have to be willing to crawl around/up into attic places to look for signs of pests (roaches, mice, etc.). The company car was nice, but having to wear a branded uniform in outside sales wasn’t my favorite. Made it hard to stop for lunch when everyone thinks you’re there because of pest problems.

Batzner is truly a family owned business. When you join the company you join part of the Batzner family. This is a fast paced environment in the summer that thrives on success. You can go home at the end of the day feeling good about where you work because you know Batzner truly cares about not only their employees but their clients. Working in a customer service type role for many years, I have seen companies take a variety of stances on how important their clients (both internal and external) are to them. Batzner takes it to a completely different level and they truly want to provide legendary service all around. Additional "pros" - Great pay - Great co-workers - Satisfying work - Company cares about you - Job security

Minpunten

The summer months are extremely busy. Everyone wants service right away and you always have way more to do than you can even begin to finish in a day. This would not be a company for someone to work at that didnt enjoy a fast paced, hard working environment.
