Good culture, good salary, really nice office, supportive management

Minpunten

Processes could be revamped (sometimes unclear, so many approvals to be provisioned access to accounts and software, etc), no real exciting data science work yet, no MLOps projects and infra in place for Philippines, some divisions make for difficult stakeholders because their processes and workflow lack efficiency and they are resistant to change; I was misled by recruiter in terms of floor rate for financial year-end incentive

Bayer sounds great - "health for all, hunger for none". and "dynamic shared ownership". There are some truly amazing people working at Bayer.

Minpunten

But it's "health for all, hunger for none" and "dynamic shared ownership" are bogus. So many people who embraced DSO were let go for voicing their opinions. The toxic leaders made the decisions, and the organization was not truly ready for Bill Anderson's call to action. It's profits first, not people. I believed - but it saddens me to write that I was wrong.
