I left in 2012 so I won't pretend to know much about the current state of the company or its culture, but when I worked there it was a fantastic place. The people, many of which have gone on to other opportunities, were generous with their time and talent. Ray Barrett was a tremendous mentor. Senior Management in Tim Barrett, Kevin Klingler and KLN, challenged me but also gave me a lot of leeway to try new things, which usually worked - though some did not. When they didn't it was a learning experience for everyone and not a black mark. The Business Development group were always responsive to my needs and questions. Pierre, Olivier and Stephen in Brussels to Dave, John, Kimberly, Jackie, Todd and many others in the US were very dedicated to their profession and always looked out for the customer. Operations were always helpful when I needed information, Scott Burcham in Pulmonary, Beth Gregory in Echo and Susan Camfield in CVS.
The Scientific Affairs team - Dr. Tim Callahan and Dr. Pierre Maison-Blanche - were the best in the business. They are extremely talented and taught me so much about the cardiac safety and clinical trials. I have heard nothing but good things about Dr. Pierro but did not have the pleasure of working with him. My biggest thanks go to my team - Kristy and Traci. They were outstanding co-workers and better people. I think we did a lot of good things as a group.
