All of this could have been avoided buying a specific company or devoting time to building PFA tech before the other companies. It can be extremely difficult to move into a sales role as a clinical, especially on the ultrasound side. Almost all companies have a path from clinical to sales, except for BWI/ j an j MedTech. Promotion pathways and role leveling has changed 4 times in the 6 years I’ve been here and not once has it had any positive effect. Extremely difficult to understand commission pay structures that always seem to eat away at what you should be taking home. What was once the best pension ever has been removed in favor of a lump sum payout. Pay is less than other similar companies and you are made to feel you can’t leave because of pension and benefits.
