Bad managers up and down. People who have been in their positions so long they have lost touch or people who have stumbled into seniority for being too scared to leave. Those vacuums of power have created years of toxicity that has been allowed, almost encouraged, to fester. Actual growth from within is discouraged and professional development is non existent. A shame because so much of the work being done is fantastic. Low pay and subpar benefits.
