Management in my department is extremely accessible and reasonable. There are several clearly defined ways to advance your career. Blank Rome offers a well rounded in-house training program involving advanced software and applications. Senior Management gives very clear and direct accessments of the status of the business in the economy to all staff.

Socially speaking, there are times where I've felt like an invisible man. Perhaps, this is because I'm not an attorney and the department in which I work with is some what isolated from the rest of the office. There is definate segregation between the attorneys and staffers, which is the most evident in the cafeteria and the firm picnic. I believe that most people are apprehensive about speaking to or befriending someone that they do not work with on a consistent basis.
