Minpunten
1. Onboarding and Training:
Bravada has significant gaps in onboarding, training, and maintaining employees. I never received proper onboarding or training despite multiple requests.
2. Notice Period:
The company should provide at least two weeks' notice before termination. Lack of notice causes financial strain and does not align with Bravada's stated core values.
3. Termination Reason:
The reason for my termination was based on an unstandardized assessment by a new manager without giving me a chance to prove my skills. I only had access to necessary tools a week before my departure, and the assessment results were never shared with me.
4. Communication Issues:
Bravada has major communication problems. Communication flow is poor, and management lacks understanding of employee roles and responsibilities. Allison (the owner), for example, should spend more time at the office to better understand the team and operations.
5. Gender Disparity:
There is an evident gender disparity in how personal time off is handled. It is unfair for a male coworker to miss days due to sudden life events, while my female medical needs are disregarded.
6. Company Integrity:
The company's actions do not reflect its claimed values of caring and integrity. Employees are treated as disposable, and there is a lack of honesty and empathy from the management.
Overall, my experience at Bravada has been disappointing, and I believe the company needs to address these critical issues to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
