Pluspunten
There were no pros to working here aside from watching people recover from addiction
Minpunten
-Required to use your own vehicle to transport clients everywhere
-You do not receive a single guaranteed day off. There are “days off” but if something comes up, a client relapses, or they just need you to take clients somewhere then you are required to do so.
-You are on the clock 24/7. Multiple nights where I slept less than the legally required amount for these kinds of jobs. No matter what you are required to perform job duties at a moments notice with no ability to say no.
-Takes advantage of people early in recovery
-Verbally abusive management
-You are paid around 2300 before taxes. 30 days x 24 hours =1 day 720. 2300/720 is 3.19. You are making $3/hr for a job that you have no set GUARANTEED time off with no job requirements. Ask for time off, you can and will be denied, even if there’s sufficient notice.
-They do not pay for the wear and tear on your vehicle even thought you are driving anywhere from 20-50 miles/day regularly, sometimes even further if necessary. They pay for your gas and that’s it.
-Management aside from one female who is no longer there are extremely emotionally abusive and unsupportive.
