Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We are glad to see you recognize that cybersecurity remains meaningful work, because that mission is core to why many of us are here.
We also take the concerns you raised seriously. Like many companies, Bugcrowd has had to make difficult decisions to align our operating model, investment priorities, and strategy with where we believe the market and our customers are headed. Those decisions are not always easy, and we recognize that change can create frustration, uncertainty, and disagreement, particularly when teams are being asked to work differently or move quickly.
That said, we are confident in the direction we are taking. Our strategy requires strong execution, accountability, collaboration across Product and Engineering, and a willingness to challenge old assumptions while still learning from what has worked in the past. We know we will not get every decision perfect, but we are committed to improving how we communicate priorities, clarify ownership, and ensure teams are aligned on the problems we are solving.
We also respect that not every employee will agree with or feel energized by the path ahead. If someone is not aligned with the company’s strategy, direction, or expectations, we respect their right to make the decision that is best for them, including choosing to move on. For those who are committed to the mission and willing to help build through this next chapter, we want Bugcrowd to be a place where candid feedback, high standards, and shared accountability help us get better.
We appreciate the feedback and will continue to use input like this to identify where communication, execution, and leadership alignment can improve.
