Pluspunten
Lots of opportunity to learn; organisation favours young, talented, hungry employees. Privately owned, profitable company, invest in research and development, passionate about what they do.
Minpunten
20 year old company with origins in consulting and custom software development that aspires to be a saas/cloud software company. A constant tendency to over intellectualise and over analyse their business. Convoluted vision, poorly set out strategy (and lack of), shoddy execution. Cheap. Co-founders still on the helm, refusing to delegate and in what appears to be significant disagreement among themselves as to the direction of the company. There lies the biggest problem. One founder runs sales and marketing, the other is the CEO. One says black, the other says white and the employees are stuck in the middle. A constant battle which has prevented the company from growing and which puts it in a perpetual chase. They have tried to reinvent themselves several times (used to be called core solutions) and have hired talented people in the past, but they tend to loose them or they become numb and indifferent. Their technology whilst promising in direction, lacks in delivery. Build quality issues, huge backlog of feature requests and bugs that clients have been asking for ages. An account management nightmare. People wise its a completely flat structure. Emperor like CEO which overrides and undermines the executive team at a blink of an eye. Under resourced, under trained and badly equipped employees with a distinct lack of empathy by management (the very little in place).
