Changed to a big corporate hairball with VP's courting new CEO instead of keeping an eye on the business. - werkgeversreview Manager bij CH2M

There seems to be a communication breakdown between the CEO's direct reports and below. The CEO may say, cut costs by 10M to a direct report, however that direct report provides no guidance on how to go about doing this. So VP/Directors scramble to cut here and there, sometimes in a logical fashion however many cuts are made in a knee jerk reation just to satisfy the higher-ups. No thought to how it affects the business in the long run. It's all short term, reactive management.
