Intense pressure to get Visa applications, outdated software interface that caused a multitude of problems. Zero support from immediate management or higher management. They seem to prefer female sheep who will follow rather than a person who is intelligent and can lead. Software was the worst I have seen in any bank. Tellers have no idea what most transactions are. Managements number one solution is to "Call the internal help desk" when an employee does not know how to solve a problem. The software uses codes, hundreds of them, to input things that are simple point and click "windows like" software at other banks I worked at. Constant customer complaints and long customer lines. Why do people still bank there? Because its too much hassle to move accounts once you start. I will never consider a position at CIBC again for any amount of money.

Slow Canadian culture that finds it challenging to meet US regulatory standards. Executives play favorites and gaslight employees, if you voice your opinion, they either silence you or try to manage you out with exaggerated "performance issues"
