Co-workers are great. Nearly everyone is easy to get along with. Everyone works as a team (except with management). Lots of hands on opportunities with technologies like VoIP, networking, operating systems, Active Directory, etc.

There are a lot of slow times. Management rarely understands this and sets strict time metrics that are sometimes impossible to meet. Managers are extremely rude to their employees and if you don't think EXACTLY like them, you will not last long. They are never clear with how you are doing and they do not care about the mental health and wellbeing of their subordinates. They are not clear with what any position entails and you will be severely handicapped with what you can and cannot do. Know of a better way of doing things? Forget it. Another thing to note is this place is very homophobic and racist. Virtually everyone who has been working here for long are all white and straight. There is no representation and being anything other than that will give upper management an opportunity to make your work experience a nightmare. You could be exceptionally well at the job, have perfect attendance, great metrics, but you can still be let go if you don't "fit in." Do not work for this company or its parent, VC3. Especially if you are in Duluth or northern Minnesota. If they let you go, there are basically no other jobs in the area.
