Owner and employees taught me a lot about a new industry. I am grateful for this.

The owner would talk daily about how his formal employees and business partners. Calling them narcissists and how they screwed him. Owner would get frustrated at venders at times and bomb them with calls and emails yelling at them because he was impatient. In return it was hard to get venders to give us timely service sometimes. VERY often he does not understand what he is doing. He gets frustrated and blames others around him. His venders, his employees, clients. He micromanages every aspect of the business. The business is months behind. Even though they have the assets and personal to output x3 the work on time. Even our client told me how hard it is to work with him. I watched him yell and talked down to an employee because the owner did not understand basic definitions of simple words. Employee got flustered. I calmy explained to the owner why his employee was correct and he was wrong and he argued for 15 minutes and still refused to admit he was wrong. Speaking of clients. Their biggest client is extremely pissed at them for messing up jobs and not fixing them. Most of those screw ups on one job for example, were done by the owner himself. He makes lots of promises to clients about fixing the jobs, but months go by and nothing. Extremely high turnover which also leads SOME bad employee to stay for a very long time. SOME very toxic employee, blames others for their mistakes. The leader lies and breaks agreements. He lied to me often, even little lies. The owner personally insulted me a couple of times unrelated to work. This is why I ultimately left. Owner has used thinly veiled threats against me after leaving the company. Not all is bad. I have met good people there.
