Good opportunity to enter my field of expertise and gain hands-on recruitment experience. Fast-paced environment that helped me develop communication and negotiation skills. Good learning curve for someone starting out.

Minpunten

Base salary was quite low and heavily dependent on recruitment commissions. This created strong internal competition and pressure to meet targets. Compensation structure could feel unstable at times.

- Standard benefits - Depending on the team you're on, can be a relatively easygoing environment - Ample vacation time, generally readily approved

Minpunten

- Far, FAR below market wage - No yearly raises or even discussion. With inflation, I'm making less now than I did previously. - Zero room for advancement (see below) - You can be a superstar for the client but that translates into no actual benefits pay or promotion wise at Capgemini - they're entirely unrelated. - My manager basically forgot I exist for over a year which means no discussion about performance, promotion, raises, etc - Opaque processes around pay, promotion, etc - Come here if you want your career and paycheck to stagnate and die - Zero appreciation or acknowledgement from the Capgemini team with the client - there's no carrot and stick, just the stick. No real reason to go above and beyond.
