Welcome to a life where you are thrown around, work long hours and are told to endure it because we are a 'small firm with growing pains' only to not get paid appropriately. Oh, and you have to be grateful for this wonderful experience. When it comes time to discuss financial compensation and benefits, people are told to go find another job if they are unhappy with compensation as 'we are a small firm'. No real consistency on promotions, kind of up to whether the MD or a VP backs you for the review Not really much space to grow, yes you can rise to manager but even at that level, you're paid better if you've been at another firm for 3-4 years. You can definitely get the responsibility and stress of the job without being paid appropriately at Cartesian, if you so please. No diversity, we don't have a single person of African American descent on our team All in all cartesian has a cult-like atmosphere- god forbid you speak ill of the elders.
