Good colleagues and diverse clients

Sometimes, the timezone difference can be exhausting

Relations between colleagues (management excluded) are great. Office facilities are nice.

Very high expectations. "Support" seems to be a moniker for "everything". At the same time, mediocre compensation, at best. Pay increases barely match inflation. Constantly shifting focus/orientation. Many people in management roles appear to be just passing through. Performance does not appear to be a top priority. Same can be said about honesty, knowledge and work ethic. IMO. Unclear how a technically oriented individual can add value to day-to-day operation (while I tried many different things). Employee feedback is sought but more often than not is ignored. At the same time, certain individuals in management get triggered because more people don't provide feedback... I found the in-company communication off-putting. Office politics appear to be required for promotion/pay increase. Everybody is replaceable, they said. Was told to leave if I didn't like it and so that's what I did. Still there are good people over there and I hope they'll manage to stay afloat.
