Pluspunten
The most rewarding part of working at Centerstone was the opportunity to help people dealing with addiction, trauma, and co-occurring mental health challenges. The client work mattered. Leading groups and supporting people in recovery gave the role real purpose, and it was meaningful to be in a position where lived experience could actually help someone else. If you care deeply about the people you serve, that part of the work can be fulfilling.
Minpunten
The biggest issues were organizational. Leadership, communication, and overall workplace consistency did not always match the seriousness of the work being done. The mission is important, but the internal structure and support can make the job more frustrating than it should be. For staff who value accountability, clarity, and strong leadership, the environment can feel inconsistent and difficult to navigate.
